Open Source
These are the tools we build because something annoyed us and we figured we could fix it. We run every one of them in production ourselves. All of them are MIT-licensed, you can self-host them, and the code lives under Open Cosmic Software on GitHub, made by Fabian Budde and Nyx.
Projects
Tacilytics
Privacy-first, cookieless web and app analytics. IPs are never stored, unique visitors are counted with a daily salted one-way hash. One Node process, one SQLite file, a ~5 KB (gzipped) tracker, UTM campaigns, goals, funnels and a REST API plus CLI for agents.
npx tacilytics serve
NyxMix
An open-source alternative to Adobe Audition for people and AI agents together: multitrack editing, mixing, restoration, spectral repair and loudness mastering in the browser. Everything you can do in the UI, an agent can do over MCP or REST, and you watch it live and can undo every step.

NyxVault
Self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted file sharing with zero knowledge. Files are encrypted in the browser or CLI, the server only stores ciphertext. Passkey encryption, burn after reading, expiring links and chunked streaming for large files.
NyxCompress
Unlimited image compression and conversion that runs 100% in your browser. PNG, JPEG, WebP and AVIF, quality slider, resizing and batch download as .zip. Your images never get uploaded. It powers our own image compressor tool.
