Last updated: 29 October 2026. This is a translation for convenience; the German version is legally binding.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the website service “getmind” at app.getmind.io, provided by Fabian Budde, Am Eickhagen 9, 59909 Bestwig, Germany, email: hello@getmind.io (“we”).
2. Services
We rebuild an existing simple website (e.g. WordPress) as a lean static website, host it and provide an admin area where you can edit content, restore versions, receive form submissions and ask an AI assistant for changes. We aim for a rebuild that is as close as possible to the original; a pixel-perfect match is not owed. Online shops, booking and payment systems, member areas and similar database-driven features are not included.
3. Contract and account
The contract is concluded on registration in the admin. You must be of legal age and operate the website you have rebuilt, or be authorised to do so, and prove this in the admin (file, meta tag or DNS record). Keep your login details secret. Account owners may invite others and remain responsible for their actions.
4. Prices, credits, payment
The prices shown in the admin or on getmind.io at the time of order apply and are final prices. The rebuild is charged once. Hosting is then free for the first three months, after which it is billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the current month. Hosting includes a monthly credit allowance (as stated in the current pricing); unused included credits expire at the end of the month. Changes made with the AI assistant are paid for with credits; the admin shows the cost before each change. Additionally purchased credits do not expire while the account exists and are not paid out in cash unless required by law. Payment is processed by the payment provider named during checkout.
4a. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied, we will refund the full price of the rebuild and all amounts paid up to that point if you request it within 30 days of purchase. The guarantee applies unconditionally and without giving reasons; an informal message to hello@getmind.io is sufficient. The refund ends the contract and the website is no longer hosted. The guarantee applies in addition to the statutory right of withdrawal and does not restrict it.
5. Your obligations and content
You are responsible for the content of your website, including legal notice, privacy policy and rights to texts and images. We may block content in case of an obvious legal violation or a credible report and will inform you.
6. AI assistant and support
The AI assistant and support chat are automated systems and may make mistakes. Changes go into a draft and are only published once you approve them. Issues the support chat cannot solve are forwarded to a human as a ticket.
7. Availability
We strive for uninterrupted operation but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
8. Liability
We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded.
9. Term, termination, data
You can cancel your account at any time by emailing hello@getmind.io. We may terminate with 30 days’ notice; termination for good cause remains possible. On request we provide your website as a download package after the contract ends and then delete the data unless retention is required by law.
10. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of conclusion of the contract by a clear statement (e.g. email to hello@getmind.io). If you expressly request that we start before the withdrawal period ends, you owe a reasonable amount for services already provided. For digital content and services the right of withdrawal may expire early under § 356 (4) and (5) of the German Civil Code if you have expressly agreed.
11. Changes
We will notify you of changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not object within that period, they are deemed accepted; we will point this out in the notice.
12. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory protection under the law of their country of residence. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is the provider’s place of business. We do not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
